Who writes this and where the figures come from
Theo Ashdown — the documents editor of The Payout Ladder
Every number on The Payout Ladder has a clause and a date behind it. This page names the person who reads those documents, how the reading is recorded, and the limits that apply to all of it.
The job, in one sentence
Theo reads what each operator on The Payout Ladder publishes about itself and writes down the clause, the register entry and the date. That sentence is the whole method, and the rest of this page only explains its edges.
A lobby shows what can be played, not how money leaves. The amounts, limits and checks that decide a withdrawal sit in the terms, and the ranking below is built from those.
Sources that count
Four sources are admitted: the operator's own terms, its cashier page, the register of the licensing authority, and its restricted-country list. A press release, a forum thread or another review site is not a source here. The licence number is searched in the issuing register on the operator's domain, because a footer can print any number it likes. Verification is recorded as the clause says it, with a threshold when one is stated and as a discretion when none is. A withdrawal ceiling is printed only when it is written, in the currency it is written in.
Edges
Empty is not zero. A document that did not open is marked as not read, not as silent. A register entry is valid for the day it was checked and can change without notice, which is why every date is printed. Theo has no account at the operators listed and makes no claim about how any of them pays in practice.
Terms and registers
Theo keeps the file behind The Payout Ladder: licence numbers checked against the issuing register, verification clauses, withdrawal ceilings and coin lists, each with its source and date.
